MONCTON (CNB) – The gates at the Petitcodiac Causeway in Moncton will be closed Wednesday, May 18 for about 14 hours, between 2 a.m. and 4 p.m. The closure is to allow the Department of Supply and Services to survey river conditions as part of Phase 2 of the Petitcodiac River project.

The three-phase project must comply with conditions approved by the Department of Environment set out by a federal-provincial environmental impact assessment.
