MEMRAMCOOK (GNB) – A two-year agreement has been secured to operate and maintain the Memramcook Valley Golf Course located on the former College-Saint Joseph property at 54 Chemin du Parc in the Village of Memramcook.

Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Claude Williams said Fox Creek Golf Club Inc. of Dieppe has been chosen as the successful proponent following a request for proposals process.
 
“The Memramcook Valley Golf Course will be open for the full season in 2014 and 2015 from mid-May to mid-October,” Williams said. “This partnership with the private sector service provider will assist us with operating and maintaining an important asset, while also making sure it remains a viable part of the community and landscape of Memramcook.”

The 18-hole course includes a registration, pro shop and canteen building; shower and washroom facilities; three storage and maintenance buildings and an irrigation pump house and reservoir.

The Memramcook Valley Golf Course was successfully operated and maintained by a service provider in 2013. A request for proposals for a service provider for the next two golf seasons was issued in December 2013.
