RENOUS (GNB) – The Renous River Bridge No. 1, on Route 8 in Renous, will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 27, and continuing until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29. This replaces the planned closure for today, June 22.
This temporary closure will permit concrete placement and curing as part of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure’s repairs to the bridge. The pour will be weather depending.
Detour signs will be posted. The detour route is through Route 118 (Gray Rapids and White Rapids).
The department apologizes for the inconvenience and encourages motorists to drive safely in construction zones. The public is encouraged to call 511 or visit the 511 webpage for updates for planned construction and maintenance activities.
