Overview
This program is offered by Early Intervention agencies across the province. The program uses a short; strength based video feedback intervention to promote secure attachment. It is a free in home service carried out in 5 one hour visits.

Description
In this program, parents will learn to accurately identify and respond to their child’s cues and signals, especially when the child is in distress. They will also learn how to understand and respond to their infant’s behaviour and how to have fun with their baby. Information on behaviours parents should adopt to strengthen the parent child relationship, to build self esteem in babies and the different roles of parents is also part of the program. Healthy attachment leads to children who are more confident and better prepared for life’s challenges.
