FREDERICTON (CNB) – Sections of the NB Trail along the St. John River, the Keswick River, the Nashwaak River and the Tobique River remain closed due to damage resulting from the extreme rain event of December 13, 2010.

Signage has been installed to indicate the closed trail sections and repairs are planned for numerous sites during the construction season in order to re-open the multi-purpose trail.

The repairs are part of the Federal/Provincial Disaster Funding Assistance Program.
