FREDERICTON (GNB) – The results of the resident moose draw are now available.

“The annual moose hunt is a tradition in New Brunswick and I congratulate this year’s successful applicants,” said Energy and Resource Development Minister Rick Doucet. “I wish this year’s selected hunters a safe and productive hunt.”

Hunters can verify the draw results by calling 1-800-459-3729 or by checking online at the Department of Energy and Resource Development website. When verifying the draw results, applicants require their Outdoors Card number.

There were more than 60,000 applications for 4,635 moose licences available for this year’s hunt, which runs from Sept. 26 to Sept. 30. Licences will be available for purchase starting today, July 4.
