Overview
A quarry permit grants the permittee the right to remove material from a pit or quarry site.
Eligibility
Individuals or companies are eligible to apply for a quarry permit.
Description
A quarry permit is valid for the time specified in the permit but in no case shall it exceed the thirty-first day of December of the year for which it is issued. A quarry permit does not give the permittee exclusive use of a pit or quarry. Royalty is paid on material removed from the pit or quarry on a semi-annual basis.
Fees
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
