Overview
A written authorization grants the holder the right to remove up to a maximum amount of 1000 tonnes of material from a pit or quarry site.
Eligibility
Individuals or companies are eligible to apply for a written authorization.
Description
A written authorization can be issued by personnel at the local Ranger District Office for the removal of up to 1000 tonnes of material from existing pits or quarries. It is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Royalty is paid at the time of issuance on the amount of material required and is non-refundable if the material is not removed within the specified time period.
Fees
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
