FREDERICTON (GNB) – A provincial commemorative service for the late Queen Elizabeth II will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, at Christ Church Cathedral, 150 Church St, Fredericton.
Due to limited space, the service will be by invitation only but will be livestreamed in English and in French.
A procession of honour will take place to the cathedral from Government House prior to the ceremony.
The public is advised that a ceremonial gun salute will take place in conjunction with the commemorative service, resulting in increased noise levels in the cathedral area. For safety reasons, traffic and pedestrian access around this area may be suspended.
More information on street closures will be available from the City of Fredericton in the coming days.
