FREDERICTON (GNB) – The Department of Finance reminds all gasoline and motive fuel retailers and tobacco retailers and wholesalers in New Brunswick that licences must be renewed before May 31.

After this date, retailers and wholesalers without a valid licence will be subject to fines and penalties.
 
Applications submitted in the week prior to the expiration date may not be processed in time for a licence to be issued for June 1.

New this year, retailer applications may be completed and submitted online through Service New Brunswick. Select the For Businesses tab and choose the appropriate application form.

Payment with a credit card is restricted to online submissions.

Application forms may also be obtained online from the Department of Finance by clicking on the Forms option. Copies of the notices sent by mail to all retailers and wholesalers are also available on this site.
