Government of New Brunswick

The Provincial Archives has the dual responsibility of oversight of the information management of Government Records and acquiring and providing of access to records bearing on the province's history.  Because of the close connection between records management and access requests to public bodies, the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RTIPPA) unit resides in the Archives.

The senior role in the Provincial Archives is the Director, Provincial Archives and Information Management Unit.
