FREDERICTON (GNB) – The following holiday message was issued today by Premier Blaine Higgs:
This year, the timeless message of the Christmas season is more relevant than ever, as we deal with the challenges that come with living in the midst of a global pandemic.
Though 2020 has been hard, I encourage everyone to take the time to reflect on what was good about the last year, including the resilience, strength and compassion demonstrated in acts both big and small across our province.
This year highlighted who we are as New Brunswickers, as we found creative ways to connect with and support family and friends while taking the necessary steps to keep our communities safe.
Throughout this season and in the days ahead, let us resolve to be sensitive to the needs of those around us and to reach out with hope and compassion.
On behalf of Marcia and my family, I wish all New Brunswickers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the spirit of this special season fill your hearts and homes with peace and joy.
