CARAQUET (CNB) – The provincial government is making investments to support three projects in the Caraquet area.

"These are important projects that will help us grow our communities," said Wellness, Culture and Sport Minister Hédard Albert. "I am proud to work with the stakeholders in our community to advance these projects."

Albert spoke on behalf of Business New Brunswick Minister Victor Boudreau, who is also minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.

The Regional Development Corporation is providing investments totalling $815,000:

●    the production known as Louis Mailloux ($450,000);
●    improvements to the Acadian Peninsula airport ($215,000);
●    expansion and development of the Bas-Caraquet public library ($150,000).
