SAINT-LÉONARD (CNB) – The provincial government is investing $300,000 in the construction of a regional emergency centre in Saint-Léonard. Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Donald Arseneault made the announcement.

"This represents the provincial government's contribution to sustainable development in the Restigouche region and our commitment to providing top-quality medical services for the public," said Arseneault.

The total cost of the project is estimated at $985,000. The provincial government is supporting this initiative through the Community Infrastructure Strategy of the Northern Economic Development Fund.
