CLAIR (GNB) – Work to expand the community services centre in Clair is progressing.

Premier Brian Gallant and Economic Development Minister Francine Landry toured the construction site today.

“Your government understands what matters most to New Brunswickers,” said Gallant. “They want their government to make investments to help the economy and to improve their quality of life. Our investment in this community services centre project is creating jobs and, once completed, will better serve the entire Haut-Madawaska region.”

The provincial government is investing $500,000 in the $1.9-million project, which involves a roughly 540-square metre (6,000-square foot) expansion to the existing municipal facility. Once complete, it will serve as a one-stop centre for residents, providing municipal, health and other professional services.
