BLACKVILLE (GNB) – The provincial government is investing $35,000 towards the installation of a splash pad in Blackville.
“Your government is proud to invest in important recreational community projects such as this splash pad in the Village of Blackville,” said Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Bill Fraser, who is also minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.
The splash pad will be in the village’s municipal park. Work on the project is expected to start this summer.
“We are proud to have the Province of New Brunswick as our partner as we continue to create healthy recreational opportunities for the children and families presently in the Village of Blackville,” said Mayor Christopher Hennessy.
