SAINT JOHN (CNB) - The names of the members of the province's sailing team at the 2009 Canada Summer Games have been released by the New Brunswick Sailing Association (NBSA).

Two people are returning to the team. They are Catherine Richards of the Royal Kennebecasis Yacht Club (RKYC) in the radial women's single-handed dingy and Chris Thomas of the same club in the men's laser single-handed dingy. The team includes Meredith Evan (skipper) and Erin Moir of the Rothesay Yacht Club (RYC) in 29er women's double-handed dingy; and Alex Black of RKYC and Kelvin Galliland of the RYC in the 29er men's double-handed dingy.

Coach David Richards is proud of the work ethic of all members selected following three NBSA regattas, the last one in Shediac. Richards said the team is among the most experienced assembled, with two veterans of the 2005 Canada Games.

The 2009 Canada Summer Games will be held in Prince Edward Island during the last two weeks of August.
