HALIFAX (CNB) – Louis Fortin, of the Shippagan area, won his second silver medal in as many days in para-nordic competitions at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

Fortin finished second in the 800 m sprint Tuesday and the 2.5 km race on Monday. He was very happy with his second medal.

The curling team, skipped by Scott Babin of Dalhousie, won its third match of the games on Tuesday. Archers Christopher Golden and Kim Maguire are fourth after two rounds. Kassie Costello finished second in the short program in novice figure skating.
