HALIFAX (CNB) – Team New Brunswick added a bronze medal to its collection on Friday at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

Boxer Tony Doiron, of Moncton, lost his medal match and won a bronze giving New Brunswick 15 in total, including two gold, four silver and eight bronze.

The majority of competitions will end Saturday. The curling team is in the semi-final in the morning. Judo team, cross country ski, women’s hockey and synchronize swim competitions will end. Closing ceremonies will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Metro Centre. Athletes will return home on Sunday afternoon.
