FREDERICTON  (GNB) – Rowing NB has announced the members of the women’s and men’s teams that will represent the province at the Canada Summer Games.

The members of the women's team are:

From the Kennebecasis Rowing Club:

●    Kate Haslet;
●    Julia Hill;
●    Shelby Hughes;
●    Jaclynn Reid;
●    Kendra Sankey; and
●    Cathleen Trafton.

The members of men's team are:

From the Fredericton Rowing Club:

●    Joe Chamberlain;
●    Andrew McGillicuddy;
●    Taylor Perry; and
●    Alex Robichaud.

From the Kennebecasis Rowing Club:

●    Michael Hamilton;
●    Andrew Johnston;
●    Noah Klotz-Mosher;
●    Cole Northrup;
●    Jack Smith;
●    Jack Summerhays;
●    Nick Voutour; and
●    Cecil VanBuskirk.

The coaches are Alan Oldham of Fredericton and Dolores Young of Rothesay. Stacey Briggs of Rothesay is the manager, and Steve Watson of Fredericton is the boatman.

Rowing competitions will be held during the second week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que. The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
