FREDERICTON (GNB) – The members of canoe-kayak team that will represent the province at the Canada Summer Games have been announced.

The team members are:

●    Kenneth Zed of Rothesay;
●    Patrick Flood of Rothesay;
●    Alexandre Kent of Rothesay;
●    Daimon Rose of Quispamsis;
●    Rory Britt of Rothesay;
●    Neils Vincent of Quispamsis;
●    Danielle Kent of Rothesay; and
●    Katherine Lorette, of Rothesay.

The coach is Craig Lang of Rothesay. The equipment manager is David Lorette of Rothesay. The team manager is Emily Benson of Quispamsis.

Canoe-kayak competitions will be held during the second week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que. The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
