BERTRAND (GNB) – The first antiques fair at the Village Historique Acadien will take place Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6.

Antique lovers can visit offerings from various antique shops of the province, all gathered in the Antoine Landry room. Visitors can view them from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A specialist in the restoration of furniture will give a conference at 11 a.m. both days at the Château Albert. At 1 p.m. the well-known auctioneers Bernard Thériault and Clarence LeBreton will be on the outdoor stage at the Frenette Post House. There will be music by Justin Doucet and Myriam Arseneau.

Also during these two days, tractors and farm equipment will be displayed in the vicinity of the Irving service station and the Goguen sawmill.
