BERTRAND (GNB) – The third magical holiday village will be held at the Village Historique Acadien on Friday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 14.

Organized by Les Amis du Village Historique Acadien inc., the activity will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will impress young and old. For the occasion, the village will unveil holiday decorations, and several holiday characters will be available on site. The elves, who usually work in secret, will be available to meet the children in the 20th century area of the village.

Visitors are reminded to bring their flashlight to bring even more magic to the activity.

Free hot chocolate will be served to young visitors who come to see Santa Claus, who will be at the lobster hatchery.

Participants will also have the opportunity to make holiday purchases as a number of local crafts persons will be on site.

The event will also provide an opportunity to collect some non-perishable food items, which will be distributed to food banks in the Acadian Peninsula.

A limited quantity of tickets will be available through Billetterie Accès as of Monday, Nov. 17.
