FREDERICTON (GNB) – Heritage Week 2020 runs from Feb. 10 to 17. This year’s theme is Bringing the Past into the Future.
“New Brunswick is a province rich in heritage,” said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Robert Gauvin. “We are proud to celebrate Heritage Week as it is an opportune time to think about our roots and celebrate our history of achievements.”
New Brunswickers of all ages are encouraged to participate in their communities by celebrating their heritage in its many forms; cultural and natural, architectural, archaeological as presented in various collections, and diverse traditions.
“Let us take advantage of this week to explore the many heritage resources in our communities by visiting our museums, historic sites, and cultural centres,” Gauvin said.
