FREDERICTON (CNB) – The Queen's Canadian Standard will be raised in front of the legislative assembly to mark the 60th anniversary of the accession of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to the throne at 7:43 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6.

Lt.-Gov. Graydon Nicholas, speaker of the legislative assembly, Dale Graham, members of the legislative assembly and a group of air, sea and army cadets will be in attendance.

The Queen's Canadian Standard will be raised for the day in ceremonies at legislatures throughout Canada and on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
