Minister visits an innovation centre for youth
Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Trevor Holder recently visited the IDEA Centre, which is housed at ConnexionWorks in Saint John. A variety of community partnerships are being formed between the private sector and high schools, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship skills among students. The centre is open to all high school students in the Anglophone South School District who would like to turn their idea into a business, charity or community service and get high school credit. The program is also available online for other high school students around the province.
