FREDERICTON (GNB) - Premier Blaine Higgs today announced appointments for three legislative roles in the government caucus.
Miramichi MLA Michelle Conroy has been named deputy Speaker of the legislative assembly.
Fredericton-York MLA Ryan Cullins has been named government caucus chair.
Southwest Miramichi-Bay du Vin MLA Mike Dawson has been named government whip.
“I am pleased to entrust Michelle, Ryan and Mike with these important roles as we continue to focus on our priorities while standing up for New Brunswickers,” said Higgs.
The roles became open following the appointment to cabinet of Moncton Southwest MLA Sherry Wilson, Moncton South MLA Greg Turner and Carleton-York MLA Richard Ames.
